Kitchens

We can help you design the kitchen of your dreams from the list of styles below or something unique just for you. Give us a call and we will schedule an appointment with one of our expert designers.

Contemporary Kitchens

A modern Contemporary Kitchen will have a modern, simple, structured look. More like a modern German European style with well defined lines, asymmetry, and a lack of trim or embellishment. The products used to achieve this design are man-made, many times from recycled materials, rather than of naturally grown materials. Many Contemporary kitchens are designed using stainless steel, Corian, chrome fixtures, recycled glass countertops and lacquer panels.

Country Kitchens

Country Kitchens are bright, cheerful, and inviting, with lighter woods and bright painted colors. The kitchen cabinets may be glazed with metal ornamentation, have wicker baskets, decorative trim and simple molding, with bantered ornamental shelving. Most designs will favor a French Country, English country, or Farmhouse cottage style and will have that look of warmth and hominess.

Old World Kitchens

Old World kitchens have that large heavy stove or hearths that dominate the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets are usually distressed, unfitted and of a darker wood style. Many designs are of the Tuscan or Coastal Mediterranean 17th century design with influences from the old world French and Italian Villas.
Most of the Old World kitchens had stone floors, brick and plaster walls, heavy wood and iron edge work with the use of mosaic tiles and accents in iron, copper, brass and pewter.

Traditional kitchens

Traditional kitchens have a 18th to 20th century American or European look. The kitchen designs will encompass many traditions like the Victorian era, the Georgian era, the Federal, Early American, Amish, or Neoclassical era. Much of this look is attributed to the ornate trim and wood choices. Cherry is the most predominate wood used in a traditional kitchen followed by walnut and mahogany. Burch is also being used to create a coast land traditional look.
